“Marius Neset combines Michael Brecker’s power and Jan Garbarek’s tonal delicacy [...] The Norwegian saxophonist is on his way to being one of the biggest new draws on the circuit” (The Guardian). His ACT debut is energetic, wild and colourful – like a lion ferociously chasing its prey.
LP portocaliu
As the title intimates, "Last Spring" is a revisiting of spring. It is not an exulting, whirling awakening, but a sustained, minimalistic meditation, oriented strongly towards the details, the variance of the melodies, the breadth and beauty of the sound. It is based on the most perfect interaction possible: Wesseltoft's soft piano daubs melt like wax into the pizzicato melodies that Kraggerud entices out of his 1744 Guarneri violin, his Harald Lund viola and his unique six-stringed viola Concorda.

1971 - Keith Jarrett, pian solo
AllMusicGuide:
"Facing You is one of the most important recordings in contemporary jazz for several reasons, aside from being beautifully conceived and executed by pianist Keith Jarrett. It is a hallmark recording of solo piano in any discipline, a signature piece in the early ECM label discography, a distinct departure from mainstream jazz, a breakthrough for Jarrett, and a studio prelude for his most famous solo project to follow, The Koln Concert.
