Dup\u0103 desp\u0103r\u021birea tensionat\u0103 de forma\u021bie, Waters \u00ee\u0219i continua drumul artistic \u00eentr-o direc\u021bie mai personal\u0103, profund marcat\u0103 de teme precum manipularea mediatic\u0103, r\u0103zboiul \u0219i degradarea moral\u0103 a societ\u0103\u021bii moderne. <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\"><span style=\"display:inline-block;height:1em\"><span style=\"display:none\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\">Amused to Death este cu adev\u0103rat un album special. \u021ain minte c\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd l-am ascultat pentru prima dat\u0103 am r\u0103mas \u201eblocat\u201d timp de c\u00e2teva minute. Nu \u00een\u021belegeam ce ascultasem \u2013 satir\u0103 social\u0103? experiment audiofil? protest politic? documentar radiofonic? Am concluzionat c\u0103 am ascultat muzic\u0103, chiar dac\u0103, \u00een ceea ce-l prive\u0219te pe Amused to Death, uneori este greu s\u0103 afirmi acest lucru.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\"><span style=\"display:inline-block;height:1em\"><span style=\"display:none\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\">Albumul este unul dintre pu\u021binele care dep\u0103\u0219esc grani\u021ba muzical\u0103, con\u021bin\u00e2nd mult mai mult dec\u00e2t ni\u0219te simple note pe un portativ, albumul fiind toate cele men\u021bionate de mine \u00een paragraful anterior. Este poate cel mai conceptual \u0219i profetic album solo al lui Waters. \u00centr-o idee central\u0103, Amused to Death este o medita\u021bie amar\u0103 despre media, manipulare \u0219i moartea spiritului uman \u00een era televiziunii.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\"><span style=\"display:inline-block;height:1em\"><span style=\"display:none\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0pt;padding-top:0;margin-bottom:0pt;padding-bottom:0;line-height:1.2\">Deloc pe ultimul loc este \u0219i sunetul acestui album &#8211; o chestiune care poate surprinde chiar \u0219i pe cei mai pu\u021bin antrena\u021bi. Mixul \u0219i masterul albumului sunt cu totul speciale, utiliz\u00e2nd noua tehnologie breakthrough de la \u00eenceputul anilor \u201990, numit\u0103 QSound, acesta fiind motivul principal pentru care albumul se aude a\u0219a cum se aude.
